We believe, without a doubt, that trees are beautiful, noble living beings. As arborists, the last thing we want to do is remove a tree. However, we also understand completely that sometimes this is a necessary step to give way to new opportunities. Sometimes our clients require a tree removed from their property because they want to construct a new patio, a driveway, a play area for their children or garden bed. Other times, a tree must be removed because it has rotten and died of old age. That is why at Meridian Tree Care we offer you an excellent tree removal service. Trust your tree removal with us and you won’t regret it!
Trees and health
Depending on the species, the life span of trees can range anywhere from 10 to 30 years. This will greatly depend on the conditions in which the tree grows, if it has a healthy environment and receives sufficient nutrients. Certain ways to identify unhealthy trees include discoloration in leaves and flaky bark. Depending on the situation, our crew can sometimes save the tree from moisture, pest or rotten wood (for more information check out our section “Tree Care”). However, in other circumstances the best thing to do is to remove the tree altogether. That’s where we come in! We can happily assess the health conditions of the tree and determine if the removal is the best solution.
If you do a quick google search, you can easily find video compilations of failed attempts to remove a tree. It might seem easy: just use a chain saw and cut through the trunk. This the most common mistake we have seen in our years of professional experience. Removing a tree is no easy matter. In fact, it is quite difficult. It requires precision and attention to detail. When we are hired to do this services, we measure the angle and inclination of the tree trunk, as well as calculate the weight. All this is important to determine the precise incisions that need to be made and the proper equipment that need to be used.
Our team of arborists are specialized professionals, passionate about their job. They fully understand that each client is different, and therefore, each project we undertake is unique and special. In order to ensure our customized service, our arborists maintain a clear communication with the client during the entire procedure. During the tree removal, they are attentive to details and abide by strict security protocols. Basically, we make sure our clients feel that they are in good hands.
Our job doesn’t conclude once the tree has been removed. We make sure to remove or grind the trunk down and prepare the surface so that the whole lawn looks even (check out our Stump Grinding & Removal section for more information). Some companies do not take these details into account, but at Meridian Tree Care we believe that it’s important to provide an integral well rounded service. Removing or grinding a stump is a way to make sure our clients won’t struggle with a new problem later on. We use organic mulch to fill in any holes that might be left behind. We make guarantee the soil is left nice and healthy so that the space can be used for a new purpose.
